I awoke in the middle of the night to reflections swirling in my mind. An interview on the topic of love and relationship. Revealing a night poem on free love. With questions and answers.
But who is asking? And who is answering?
Earlier in the day, I had conversations around old love and relationship beliefs that still linger and restrain my free love. Codes deeply embedded into my programme: Love hurts. Love cheats. Relationships are restrictive. I am not worthy of lasting love…”
A wiser voice, a friendly virus, challenged the programme last night. I let words flow, in a Q&A style.
FREE LOVE
HE CHEATED?
There is no cheating. Only love for the truth, love for who we choose to be. Free. Together. Individually. He chose that way, at that time. I have love for his choices.
FEELING BETRAYED?
There is no betrayal without attachment, without belonging. Questionable if I even belong to myself. I feel Free. To stay, to go, to love.
OPEN RELATIONSHIP?
As open as the boundaries we set for ourselves. I am open to give, to receive, to love. Free. As a human. With all the wonders that come with that.
YOU’VE FORGIVEN?
The need for forgiveness acknowledges regret. Love needs no forgiveness but understanding of freedom. Curiosity and learning. Choice.
IF HE LEAVES?
There is no leaving with love. Love cannot be locked down, nor leave. Love just is. Everywhere. Free. I’d grieve physical loss and expand around it.
IS THIS FREE LOVE?
What came first, Love or Freedom? Freedom without love and love without freedom. Can one exist without the other; are they one and the same. All love is free love.
REFLECTIONS
These thoughts danced and whispered in my mind, in the night. Sometime they are so loud I tame them with written words. The thoughts are mine and so are the words. Whether they are true to me or not. They pass through, whether I believe them or I don’t.
Who is asking? Who is answering? Simple free love reflections in the night.
End.
